About Carmen

Carmen gained a scholarship at the age of 15 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and went on to win the Vale Young Musician of the Year. She continued her studies at the RWCMD specialising in Voice and Piano. Professional engagements have included performances at prestigious venues across the UK. She has been a guest soloist for numerous Male Voice Choirs including International events.

Carmen has collaborated with West End star Peter Karrie, playing Christine to his Phantom. She has taken the lead role in many Gilbert and Sullivan operettas and musical theatre productions including The Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore, Oklahoma, My Fair Lady and West Side Story... to name a few!

Carmen is a peripatetic music teacher at various schools across the Vale and privately teaches lessons in voice and piano. Her passion for musical theatre led to her forming her own Razzle Dazzle Theatre School where she gains great pleasure and satisfaction from passing on her skills and experience to the younger generation.

Since the theatre school started in 2011, Carmen has produced a number of shows including The Wizard of Oz, Bugsy Malone, Grease, Annie, Guys and Dolls, The Green Fields Of France, Aladdin and numerous variety shows and workshops.
